Education and training opportunities are limited and we feel that a course which covers usual clinical scenarios followed by hands-on sessions where nurses and ancillary staff have a chance to handle equipment fills a need for education that is unmet in the region.

Objectives

Review common diseases of the gastrointestinal tract as they pertain to endoscopic procedures
Discuss routine as well as advanced endoscopic techniques and tools
Acquire a working knowledge of endoscopic tools during the hands-on sessions
